Original written by: Pablo Neruda
Edited by: L

Here's the original copy http://www.cise.ufl.edu/~hsiao/verse/tonight.html
the love that is always mysteryly hided from sight. if you looked deep, you could simply reveal the secret.
Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
Write, for example, 'The night is too long, I have no strenght to go on.'
I
The night wind blows and recall the past which I struggle to forget.

Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
I loved him, and sometimes he loved me too.
L
Through nights like this one I held him in my arms.I leant on his chest under the endless sky.
O
He loved me, and sometimes I loved him too.
How could one not have loved his still dazed eyes?
V
Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
To think that I lost him. To feel that I missed him.
E
To hear the immense night, still more immense without him,
And the verse falls to the soul like dew to the pasture.

What does it matter that my love could not keep him.
That night is shattered and he is not by my side.
Y
This is all. In the distance someone is singing.
My soul is not satisfied that it has lost him.
O
My sight searches for him as though to go to him.
My heart looks for him, but he is not with me.
U
The same night whitening the same trees.
We, of that time, are no longer the same.

He no longer loves me, that is certain, but how he loved me.
My voice tried to find the wind to enter his mind.

Another's. He will be another's. Like my hugs before.
His voice, His body, His infinite eyes.

I no longer love him, that is certain, but maybe I love him.
Love can be short, but forgetting is so long.

Because through nights like this one I held him in my arms
and now my soul is not satisfied that it has lost him.

Though this be the last pain that he makes me suffer,
and these the last verses that I write for him.

To DJ & MP , my friends, I dedicate them ink and paper twin symbolizes fated love.
